Light control films are suitable for applications that remove unwanted ambient light and control the direction of light transmission from displays. Heat-absorbing glass minimizes the propagation of unwanted heat within the system by absorbing wavelengths longer than the visible spectrum. Infrared (IR) plastic sheets are used for mid-wave infrared (MWIR) and long-wave infrared (LWIR) applications. Acrylic domes and glass domes are used to create a boundary between two different environments, protecting against the surrounding environment. While glass domes have excellent optical properties, acrylic domes offer superior durability. Additionally, acrylic domes can be easily secured to the installation surface using slips or screws.
